5 more weeks of 20/20

Well, I’m almost done with 20/20. I’m in the middle of the maintenance phase. I now weigh 179 pounds, 64 less than when I began. 15.4% of me is fat, down from 36.3%. I’ve got 152 pounds of lean muscle by the latest measurement, so if I keep that I figure 167-170 is about what I should weigh to be at my body fat goal. But those machines are pretty inaccurate. I’ll see how I look after losing another 10 pounds and take it from there. My doctor says that medically I don’t really need to lose any more weight, so now it’s just to put the finishing touches on cosmetically.

Anyway, good stuff! Blood pressure is down to 116/66 last they checked (from 134/90) and everything else is great. The one annoying thing is that this time my hips went down a bunch in size, so my waist/hip ratio actually increased to 0.92. I figure the next 10 pounds will help that out as well.

I’m going to reward myself for going under 180 with a trip to Daniel’s Broiler. I’ve been told they have a really great chocolate souffle, which is my favorite food, so I’ll be having that after a caesar salad, filet, and lobster tail. I’ll get some asparagus on the side. All in all it promises to be quite tasty.

The sad news is that today I aggrivated my already sore left hamstring playing ultimate frisbee. Hopefully it’ll get better soon and I won’t have to slack on my workouts.
